Ruapehu Locals who love to ride!

The Ruapehu Mountain Bike Club is run by local volunteers who love to ride mountain bikes and are passionate about the Uenuku Pines MTB Park, and encourage others to join them!

Ruapehu MTB Club looks after the Uenuku Pines MTB Park which is located less than 10 minutes south of National Park and a 20 minute drive from Ohakune, just off the side of State Highway 4. We have the privilege to access this commercially managed forest thanks to the support of Uenuku and NZ Forestry - which we are very grateful to have!

The Uenuku Pines MTB Park is Ruapehu's local bike park with a growing trail network of grade 2 to 5 trails.

We have a selection of single track flow trails that cater to riders of all ages and abilities - from those who are just starting out with exploring mountain bike park trails, to the riders who seek adrenaline based trails with jumps and drops!

Join the club and come ride at Uenuku Pines MTB Park! We have yearly memberships that cost $25.00 per individual or $50.00 per family, or purchase a single day pass for $10.00 per individual. All proceeds from our membership sales go directly into the trails at the Uenuku Pines MTB Park!

Along with the Uenuku Pines MTB Park, make sure to check out all the amazing trails around the Ruapehu area, like the Mountains to Sea - Nga Ara Tuhono trail network. Click here to learn more!

We would love to welcome you too the Ruapehu MTB Club and all the exciting trails to ride around Ruapehu!

Uenuku Pines MTB Park & Trailforks

Currently the most up to date trail map and recordings as of January 3, 2024.

Throughout December and January we've been working on updating the trail map and recordings on Trailforks.

We have edited the map to add our new trail additions of Loose Chain, Dropper, Waterfall Express, Bent Spokes and the extension of Rake Head, including updating the existing trail recordings for other park trails.

We encourage riders to check out the trail map on Trailforks and use for reference while riding at the bike park.

Please note, we are currently working through updating the bike park recording with MTB Project, once updated we will share the link for reference too :)
