One of the best kept secrets in Ruapehu!
Built and maintained by the volunteers from Ruapehu MTB Club, the mountain bike park has a range of trails to help grow and test your skills.
Based in Waikune Forest- Erua (just South of National Park Village), we have the privilege to access this commercially managed forest thanks to the support of Uenuku and NZ Forestry.
Trails range from beginners to features for more advanced riders.

For access to all our trails (and more), we need your support. To ensure we can continue to access, develop and maintain the trails (and ensure we give you the best information to ride safe), we require all riders to "join" our Club through a membership purchase - just like most Mountain Bike parks across New Zealand.

Updated trail map for your reference
In January 2023, we've been working on updating the trail map and recordings on Trailforks. We had edited the map to add our new trail additions - extension of Rake Head, Loose Chain, Dropper and Waterfall express, as well as updated existing trail recordings for other park trails.
We encourage riders to check out the trail map on Trailforks and use for reference while riding at the bike park.

We are happy to welcome club riders back into the Uenuku Pines MTB Park!
We are fortunate to have a portion of trails left undisturbed by the recent felling of trees and over the past two years have been working lots to continue to rebuild the trail network.
We are stoked to add to the trail list Boost, Loose Chain, Dropper, Waterfall Express and the extension of Rake Head and Bent Spokes in 2023 and 2024.
There is ongoing work to continue updating the trail maps and trail signage around the park, we encourage all riders to check out the trail map on TRAILFORKS for an updated version.
